Call for Associate Editor

About the role
We are looking for new Associate Editors with an academic background in medical education to join the editorial team of Medical Education Online. With a 2019 Impact Factor of 1.970 MEO is the world’s premier fully Open Access medical education journal with 25 years of publication history. Its aim is to support the education and training of physicians and other health care professionals through publishing high-quality peer-reviewed research.
Working alongside Editors-in-Chief Scott Cottrell and Sonia Crandall the successful candidate will be responsibility for managing the review process for submissions assigned to them as well as the opportunity to contribute to overall editorial policy through regular board meetings. They will join the journals existing team of 25 Associate Editors comprising a wide variety of disciplines and perspectives.
The Journal utilises an online editorial office system to manage submissions via Editorial Manager.
Becoming the Associate Editor of a journal is a rewarding and fulfilling experience where you will build your own networks and promote the research that you are passionate about. It is also a wonderful opportunity for those looking to gain further expertise in academic publishing.
