About this Special Issue

Special issue: Working with Queer Couples

Special Issue Editor: Katie Heiden-Rootes, Ph.D

Submissions are invited for a special issue of the Journal of Couple & Relationship Therapy focused on Working with Queer Couples.

Queer couple refers to couple relationships where one or both identify as a sexual and/or gender minority person (i.e., lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, transgender, and gender non-conforming, etc.). Language is continuing to evolve in sexuality and gender, as such so should our therapeutic approaches and theoretical understandings of couples and families. Both theory and original research articles are invited to submit. Special consideration will be given to those who consider homonormativity, intersectionality, and issues of sex and intimacy.

Submission Deadline: August 15, 2020

For details of how to submit your paper, please read the Instructions for Authors on the journal homepage.
