UTTHAN-T&F Champions: Research Excellence & Innovation Readiness Program
Taylor & Francis, in partnership with Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India invites you to the UTTHAN-T&F Champions Program, designed specifically for systematically strengthening India’s research capabilities, aiming to accelerate India’s institutional research output and competencies to align with national priorities.

Through five progressive modules in the program, participating institutions and researchers will develop essential competencies for with research ecosystems aligned with national priorities and global sustainable development goals.
Module 1: Research Study Design, Methodology & Ethical Foundations
Module 1 will explore India’s evolving research landscape, government policies supporting institutions, and establishing ethical roles and responsibilities of all research stakeholders. The module will introduce participants to systematic research planning, design principles and research lifecycle from conceptualization to dissemination.

Module 2: Research Ethics – Principles, Frameworks & Governance
Module 2 establishes foundational understanding of research ethics, integrity principles, institutional ethics committee processes, informed consent, participant protection, and responsible data management across research contexts.

Module 3: Publication Readiness & Peer Review
Module 3 establishes foundational understanding of research ethics, integrity principles, institutional ethics committee processes, informed consent, participant protection, and responsible data management across research contexts.

Module 4: Research Integrity & Responsible Practices
Module 4 extends ethics principles in daily research practices, from learning about research misconduct like fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, manipulation to proactive integrity practices like transparent record-keeping, defining authorship as per criteria etc. This module will also cover institutional duties to create supportive systems and building cultures where integrity concerns can be raised safely.

Module 5: Domain-specific Research Applications & National Priorities
Module 5 covers domain-specific case studies, methodologies, and publication landscapes. Participants will engage with real-world research challenges and opportunities in their chosen domains to learn how to navigate the evolving academic publishing landscape in each national priority discipline.
