Call for Book Review Editor

The Community College Journal of Research and Practice is accepting applications and nominations for a Book Review Editor. The role of the Book Review Editor serves to manage the solicitation, review, and acceptance processes for book reviews published in the CCJRP. In this voluntary position, the Book Review Editor screens, evaluates, and maintains liaison with authors regarding review revisions. After the revision process, the Book Review Editor recommends to the Editor-in-Chief to either publish or reject the book review. The editor will receive a complimentary subscription of the CCJRP.

Call for Learning Resources Editor

The Community College Journal of Research and Practice is also accepting applications and nominations for a Learning Resources Editor. The role of the Learning Resources Editor serves to provide scholarly resources to community college practitioners and scholars by regularly researching and compiling a column/list of recently published dissertations on community, junior, technical, and state colleges. In this voluntary position, the Learning Resources Editor is responsible for researching and compiling an inventory of recently published dissertations about community colleges that is published quarterly. Access to information about recent dissertations (such as ProQuest’s Dissertation & Thesis database) is necessary. The editor will receive a complimentary subscription of the CCJRP.

The Community College Journal of Research and Practice is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original research. Readership includes higher education leaders, faculty, administrators, counselors, trustees, policy makers, behavioral and social scientists, and researchers studying higher education with an emphasis on the role community colleges play locally, nationally, and internationally. The journal accepts original articles, exchange, and book reviews.
