Dr Peter Speldewinde is a Lecturer at the University of Western Australia, currently teaching in field techniques and restoration ecology. After working for many years in the field of conservation biology, implementing recovery plans and translocation proposals for threatened species, Peter did his PhD at the University of Western Australia examining the impacts of dryland salinity on human health. His main research interest is the impact of ecosystems on human health.

Dr. Siming You is a Lecturer in the James Watt School of Engineering at the University of Glasgow. Before joining the School, he worked as a Research Fellow at NUS (National University of Singapore) Environmental Research Institute. His main area of expertise is the design and analysis of environmental and energy systems, with a focus on wastewater treatment and waste management.
