Single-cell transcriptomics
Transcription has traditionally been studied on the level of cell populations. Recent progress in single-cell techniques has revealed that transcriptional regulation and kinetics often differs substantially from cell to cell within the same tissue. This Special Issue will highlight key contributions of single-cell studies to our understanding of transcription regulation and transcriptional programs in development. We are looking for articles investigating on the single-cell level:
-
Chromosome accessibility and conformation
-
Transcriptional regulation and kinetics
-
Transcription-coupled RNA processing
-
Transcriptional programs in development
-
Tissue-specific transcription
-
Transcription in disease
- Analysis of transcriptomic data
