Tools and Methods for Spent Nuclear Fuel Management

The special issue on Tools and Methods for Spent Nuclear Fuel Management would aim to cover advances in methods, strategies, algorithms, databases, and software tools or products that are used for the management of spent nuclear fuel (SNF). This includes SNF management in pools at reactor sites, during transportation, long-term storage, as well as disposal. The integration of these tools or modules to perform broader analysis, verification and validation (V&V), uncertainty quantification, as well as specific use case analysis are of interest for the special issue. This special issue plans to cover tools and methods used for both light water and advanced reactors technologies. Original unpublished work in the form of research or review articles are of interest for this special issue.
