11th International Conference on Matrix-Analytic Methods for Stochastic Models (MAM11)

This Special Issue devoted to the 11th International Conference on Matrix-Analytic Methods in Stochastic Models (MAM11) encourages the submission of full papers associated with MAM11. Authors who presented a talk at the conference are welcome to submit full papers based on the results presented at MAM11, and the journal welcomes submissions beyond the conference as well.

Papers should describe research on the theoretical, algorithmic and methodological aspects of matrix-analytic methods and, more generally, the analysis of structured Markov chains in stochastic models, including but not limited to:

  • QBD-, M/G/1-, GI/M/1-type and tree structured Markov chains;
  • PH and ME distributions;
  • Markovian and rational arrival processes;
  • Markov modulated fluid queues;
  • Markovian trees;
  • Spatial processes

Furthermore, papers concerned with the applications of such mathematical research across a broad spectrum of fields are particularly encouraged.
