Special issue in Honor of Zuhair Nashed's 90th Birthday
This special issue of Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization is dedicated to M. Zuhair Nashed to honor his exceptional contributions to various fields of mathematical analysis on the occasion of his 90th birthday. Zuhair Nashed has founded this journal in 1979 and he led it as editor in chief over 45 years till 2024. He imprinted it over decades.
With his broad knowledge of mathematics Zuhair Nashed has stimulated the research of various generation of mathematicians. His vision has been to bring together expertise from different mathematical fields to further advance mathematics. Zuhair Nashed is a bridge builder in mathematics, which is clearly visible in the publications of Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization.
This special issue calls for publications in the areas of mathematics that have some relation to Zuhair Nashed’s research work to honor his exceptional research and his life for mathematics.
Submission Instructions
Each manuscript must be submitted via Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization’s online manuscript system, the Submission Portal.
To submit to the special issue, please head to the submission page and select "Special issue in the honor of Zuhair Nashed's 90th birthday" as the special issue you are submitting to. This will ensure your article is considered for publication in the special issue.
Submitted papers will be considered as potential publications in this special issue subject to peer reviews and should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions will be refereed upholding the journal’s high standards of peer-review integrity and scientific good practice. All submitted papers will be peer reviewed by at least two independent, anonymous expert referees, each delivering at least one report.
