The Shadow Economy, Tax Evasion and Public Finances
The Baltic Journal of Economics in cooperation with Tallinn University of Technology and Stockholm School of Economics in Riga is inviting contributions to a special issue on “The Shadow Economy, Tax Evasion and Public Finances”. The special issue follows on from the Shadow 2023 conference that was held in Tallinn on 21-24 September 2023 (https://taltech.ee/en/shadow2023).
We would like to encourage the submission of the papers presented at the conference, and also of other papers from outside the conference as long as they are within the broader theme of the conference. Both applied and theoretical contributions are welcome. Among topics of particular interest are the size and drivers of the shadow economy, tax compliance, money laundering, corruption, formal and informal institutions, behavioural economics, and tax evasion and public finances.
