Special Issue on Practice-Based Psychotherapy Research

  • This special issue is particularly interested in receiving articles whose main focus is Practice-Based Psychotherapy Research.
  • The aim of this issue is to advance knowledge about psychotherapy that contributes to dialogue and bridge building between research and practice.
  • We especially welcome (although it is not limited to) contributions that address relevant and novel research questions and problems that call for investigation from the "bottom up", that is, from routine clinical practice, in naturalistic settings, with specific populations situated in particular contexts, accounting for those elements of the psychotherapeutic process and clinical interventions that promote change and positive outcomes.
  • We also welcome studies that aim to translate and transfer research findings to these particular contexts of clinical practice.
  • This special issue is intended as a continuation of the 2016 monograph dedicated to Psychotherapeutic Process Research: https://www.tandfonline.com/toc/redp20/37/2-3?nav=tocList
