New insights for practice education: teacher education in Vietnam

The 'new insights for practice education' special issue series seeks to open up conversations about practice education in contexts where practitioner education is evolving in response to changing social, cultural, political or policy dynamics. In this issue we invite contributions from researchers exploring teacher education in Vietnam at a moment of intense and rapid curriculum and policy reform. We are particularly interested in:

  • critical explorations of policy reform and new forms and expressions of practice
  • papers that bring to the fore the experiences and voices of practitioners implicated in policy reform
  • new agendas for research in practitioner education in the Vietnamese context
  • novel approaches to methodology that offer new insights for close to practice research

Whilst focused on the Vietnam as a context for practice papers should also be careful to make connections to broader contemporary debates in practice education that have resonance for a wider audience with an interest in the field.
