Navigation and Location based Services using IoT Technologies

Location-based service (LBS) has been widely used for real-time indoor positioning system which utilizes the geographical data of IoT device and used to track the individual the location. Besides that, most of the businesses adopted LBS for several benefits such as nearest store location, proximity-based marketing, travel information, roadside assistance, network optimization, emergency services, and cellular fraud prevention. But it has some limitations while dealing with large-scale networks such as long battery life and low latency requirements for continuous monitoring and tracking the locations. To resolve this, crowdsourcing is widely used in the LBS for indoor localization services with high-quality data and less human intervention.
