Naval Engineering and Ship Control Special Edition 2021
In October 2020, the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology organized the very successful online International Naval Engineering Conference and Exhibition 2020 with the international Ship Control Systems Symposium 2020. While the academic quality of the proceedings was again extremely high, we are very pleased to announce that the authors are requested to submit an extended version of their conference paper to the Naval Engineering and Ship Control special edition 2021 of the Journal of Marine Engineering and Technology in order to ensure the best work of the INEC / iSCSS 2020 receives the academic recognition it deserves. We aim to publish an online special edition that deals with cutting edge research on naval engineering and ship control in the themes integrating disruptive technologies and surfing the digital revolution. We are really looking for papers on the key themes of disruptive technologies, power and energy systems, the response to climate change, autonomy, safety and security.
