Nanomedicine and application; characterization, diagnosis, treatment, and targeting cancers

The treatment of cancer has always been a challenging task due to the complexity and heterogeneity of the disease. However, recent advancements in the field of nanotechnology have paved the way for more effective and precise treatment options. The incorporation of advanced technologies such as carbon nanotubes, metal nanoparticles, polymeric micelles, and liposomes has shown remarkable enhancements in detection and therapy. Nanotechnology-based therapies are highly effective in targeting specific types of cancer, resulting in reduced side effects and improved treatment outcomes. The incorporation of nanoparticles into cancer treatment has brought about a paradigm shift in the approach to cancer treatment. The special issue covers important topics related to the formulations, characterization, and targeting of the nanomaterials or nanomaterials incorporated in other different dosage forms that are utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of different types of cancers and cancer cells.
