Pathogenic Fungi and Health
Pathogenic fungi are closely related to human health. Current research in the field of pathogenic fungi mainly focuses on classification and identification of pathogenic fungi, biological characteristics of pathogenic fungi, interaction between pathogenic fungi and the host, diagnosis and treatment of pathogenic fungi, and so on. In the future, researchers will pay more attention to the classification and identification methods of pathogenic fungi based on new technologies, multidisciplinary research on pathogenic fungi, important pathogenic fungi (such as Candida albicans, Candida auris, Candida, Cryptococcus, etc.), the control technology of pathogenic fungi etc, which will directly change human health and quality of life.
This special issue will cover but is not limited to the following topics:
- Epidemiological survey of mycosis based on large data
- Fungal infection and chronic disease
- Pathogenic fungi and cooperative health
- Mechanism of fungal infection
- Antifungal drugs
- New technology, new methods

Please submit your paper through our online submission system. All papers will be peer-reviewed. The submission deadline is September 30, 2023. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together in the 1st or 2nd issue 2024. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited.

It is the official journal of Institute of Microbilogy and the Mycological Society of China, and published by Taylor & Francis in 4 issues per year.
