Mathematical Models and their Application for the Sustainable Development

In recent times, mathematical modelling and its applications have become a key element in various fields of study. Several real time problems exist in the field of engineering, medical, transportation and automation etc. which need to be discussed in terms of mathematical modelling. The issue will discuss the various domains of Engineering and Mathematics where advancement in mathematical modelling and their applications will ensure sustainable development.

Papers may discuss theories, applications, evaluation, limitations, general tools and techniques. Discussion papers that critically evaluate approaches or processing strategies and prototype demonstration are especially welcome. Survey papers and papers that do not have any new knowledge are not encouraged.

Specific topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Mathematical modeling techniques
  • New mathematical approaches, innovations, and challenges in data science
  • Engineering research based on advanced mathematical tools
  • Mathematical formulation and simulation for COVID-19
  • Mathematical models and their applications
  • Optimization techniques, including multi-criterion optimization and decision-making support
  • Data mining and knowledge discovery
  • Mathematics of Machine learning
  • Pattern recognition
  • Learning in evolutionary algorithms
  • Artificial neural networks
  • Computational intelligence and its applications
  • Bio-inspired and swarm intelligence
  • Text/web/data mining
  • Natural language processing
  • Mathematics of Internet of Things
  • Network (Graph) Models
  • Prototypes in Audio and Video Processing/Recognition
  • Cryptography
