Hydrogen Embrittlement of Metals – Papers from the 4th International Conference on Metals and Hydrogen

Given the need to transport and store hydrogen for hydrogen energy applications as well as the benefits of designing high strength alloys resistant to environmentally-assisted cracking, there are substantial research and development efforts on hydrogen embrittlement. This issue will showcase both fundamental and industrially-relevant research on hydrogen-microstructure interactions, hydrogen embrittlement, hydrogen detection, and other relevant topics from the 4th International Conference on Metals and Hydrogen (Steely Hydrogen).

Submission Instructions

We invite you to submit a full manuscript to Materials Science and Technology based on your submission to Steely Hydrogen (2022). Our objective is to build a collection of papers, available to the hydrogen embrittlement research community, highlighting the diverse and high quality research presented at Steely Hydrogen in 2022. Please prepare your manuscript according to the Instructions for Authors on the Materials Science and Technology homepage.
