Linguistics and English Education
We invite contributors to submit papers for a special edition of English in Education focusing on the relationship between linguistic knowledge and English education.
We invite theoretical or empirical studies from both academics and classroom practitioners working across all phases of education and drawing on different theories of language.
Submission Instructions
Articles might explore topics that include, but are not limited to:
· historical debates on the place of linguistics/language in English studies;
· the relationship between linguistics and literary studies;
· teaching knowledge about language/language awareness;
· pedagogies associated with language study;
· linguistic knowledge and creativity;
· critical linguistics and its role in teacher education and/or the curriculum.
Please prepare your submission in line with the journal’s guidelines for authors. Submissions should be made via our ScholarOne site. Please select the correct ‘Special Issue’ as the Manuscript Type.
