Entrepreneurship for Humanity & Peace

Entrepreneurship has become increasingly recognized as essential to peace, economic development, and prosperity. ICSB 2023 World Congress, hosted in Gwangju, South Korea, explores how this is achieved by looking at examples of peace-focused entrepreneurs, economic development, and the creation of wealth-building opportunities. The ICSB 67th World Congress aims to demonstrate how entrepreneurs' ideas and hard work are essential in creating positive change in any society, regardless of the economic or political situation. Furthermore, Congress will provide evidence that entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises seek to improve their well-being and catalyze much-needed economic development and prosperity throughout their communities. Therefore, a primary focus is on Humane Entrepreneurship for peace and prosperity. This is a Special Issue tied to the ICSB 67th World Congress found at www.ICSBCongress.com

South Korea has been recognized as one of the most successful examples of how entrepreneurship can drive economic development and prosperity. The country's remarkable economic growth and transformation in the last few decades can be attributed mainly to the entrepreneurial spirit of its people and the government's support for small and medium-sized enterprises.

The ICSB 2023 World Congress will provide a platform for researchers, educators, policymakers, and entrepreneurs to showcase their success stories and share best practices with the international community. Furthermore, by highlighting the role of entrepreneurship in driving economic development, creating wealth-building opportunities, and promoting peace, Congress can inspire and encourage more entrepreneurs in South Korea and worldwide to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
