The Journal of Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology invites submissions for a special issue that will focus upon innovations in assessing performance and symptom validity. Exemplary topics include: development of novel instruments; creation of original algorithms to identify noncredible responses; application of validity measures within diverse groups or infrequently studied clinical populations. Empirical studies or experiments are preferred, but systematic qualitative or quantitative reviews would be welcome. Michael Basso and Doug Whiteside will serve as editors of the special issue.
If interested, prepare a 250 word abstract outlining the topic, methods, findings, and implications. Submit to Michael Basso ([email protected]). Due date for proposals is July 1, 2023. Proposals will be reviewed by the journal’s editorial staff, and selected papers will be invited. First drafts of manuscripts will be due no later than November 1, 2023, and they will undergo a typical peer review process.
