Scandinavian Journal of Rheumatology

There has been increasing interest in pulmonary manifestations of rheumatic disease. Through advances in technology and in the understanding of disease mechanisms, there have been improvements in both diagnostics and therapy.

However, lung involvement remains a challenge in patients with systemic rheumatic disorders. Collaboration across specialties is often necessary to optimize management. The scientific literature on this subject is expanding, and the Scandinavian Journal of Rheumatology is proud to be a part of this effort.

The Editors have identified this as an area of particular interest to the readers of the Journal, and therefore invite contributions to a Special Issue. We welcome submission of full-length articles on original research, reviews, brief reports and letters describing interesting and educational cases in this field.

Authors are encouraged to designate such manuscripts to the Special Issue. Submissions will undergo regular editorial assessment and peer review. They will be published online after acceptance as soon as production admits, and then compiled in the Special Issue, both online and in print.
