Inequality and Development: Lessons for Policy Makers

The introduction of Cogent Economics and Finance first Editor in Chief offers a great opportunity to announce a call for papers for a special issue of the journal. The theme of the special issue is the economics of inequality and development. The journal’s editors are interested in receiving high quality original, empirical research using econometric methods. Data could come from one or multiple developing countries, with analysis offering lessons for policy makers on how economic growth and reduced inequality can be achieved. The Editor in Chief is a Professor of Economics at the University of Warwick, and the special issue celebrates the launch of an initiative between the University of Warwick Africa Hub, UNCTAD and REPOA, a Tanzanian policy think tank on inequality research and policy.
