Hemispheric Processing of Spoken and Written Discourse

Dear Colleagues,

The journal Discourse Processes is pleased to announce a new special issue entitled, “Hemispheric Processing of Spoken and Written Discourse”. This special issue focuses on the processing of language in the left and right cerebral hemispheres of the brain. This issue will showcase cutting-edge research using a variety of methodologies that tells us more information about how the cerebral hemispheres process and interact during language comprehension and production. The goal is to highlight new data that will inform both theoretical frameworks of language processing and expand upon existing theories of hemispheric processing. Dr. Blaine Tomkins and Dr. Sandra Virtue will be serving as Guest Editors for this issue.
