Acknowledging the Diversity of Gender Diverse Populations - Implications for Clinical Practice

This special issue aims to publish papers that explore clinically important questions about diversity among transgender and gender-diverse adolescents and adults. We seek submissions that examine clinically relevant experiences of subpopulations of transgender and gender-diverse folk, that will facilitate more tailored and informed psychological support. Papers may examine questions such as how minority stress, identity development, relationship challenges, desire for and response to gender-affirming medical interventions, and mental health/psychological treatment approaches may differ between diverse gender diverse populations.

Submission Instructions

Submission Deadline: August 1st, 2024
Submission Types: Empirical articles, theoretical articles, review papers.
Topics of Interest: Include but are not limited to identity development, minority stress, relationship challenges, gender dysphoria, mental health impacts, and the effectiveness of gender-affirming interventions and their intersection with diverse subpopulations of gender-diverse folk.

Submissions should follow the Clinical Psychologist guidelines and be submitted through the journal's submission portal. Each manuscript will undergo the journal's standard peer-review process.
