Family Therapy in Asia
The field of systemic therapy is growing rapidly in Asia. These developments provide new opportunities to broaden the tradition of international connectedness. We invite you to submit manuscripts related to the subject of the practice of family therapy in Asia. Examples of potential topics include:
- Family Therapy Models. Including issues of how Western-based family therapy models are being adapted and utilized in Asia as well as how indigenous healing practices from non-Western cultures are being adapted for clinical practice
- Cross Cultural Issues in Family Therapy: Issues related to competent multicultural therapy
- Global Ethical Issues: Issues related to ethics in clinical practice in Asia
- Supervision and Training: Submissions may include manuscripts about the experiences of educators who specialize in working with students in Asia. Other topics may include supervision strategies, language differences, post-graduation experiences, and the intersectIon of cultural customs.
