Embracing Inclusive-Circular and Technological Transitions within and between Organisations

The integration of inclusivity and circularity in management and marketing faces challenges and criticism despite their recognised positive impact. Circular approaches may exacerbate inequalities and environmental issues globally. Inclusive management, while beneficial in the short term, may hinder long-term growth and requires significant cultural shifts. Factors like artificial intelligence exacerbate inequality and hinder SDG achievement (United Nations, 2022).

This special issue aims to explore various aspects, including establishing circular accounting approaches, promoting inclusive/circular practices, ethical marketing in emerging economies, fostering organisational inclusion, and leveraging digital transitions for inclusivity/circularity. It also addresses issues such as marketing approaches and models, consumer behaviours, sustainability marketing,  leadership models, IT integration, and the role of certifications in promoting inclusivity/circularity (Gregson et al., 2015; Barrie et al., 2022; Riffkin and Harter, 2016; Korinek et al., 2021; Boubakary and Peretti, 2023).

The special issue welcomes multidisciplinary methodologies.
