Submission Instructions

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the release of a Special issue/Article collection dedicated to “Innovations in Drip Irrigation Practices for Sustainable Vegetable Production”.

This special issue aims to comprehensively explore innovative approaches and best practices in drip irrigation systems for optimizing vegetable production. The topics covered include planting geometry, irrigation scheduling, and management skills to enhance the efficiency of water and nutrient use.

Original and overview works could be submitted.

Contributions are invited to explore various aspects of vegetable irrigation, including but not limited to:

* Designing drip irrigation systems for maximum crop yields, water conservation, and reduced production costs.

* Improving water and nitrogen management to enhance water use efficiency, particularly in water scarcity regions.

* Irrigation scheduling techniques tailored for vegetable crops, considering soil type, crop water requirements, and irrigation intervals.

* The role of informed criteria in achieving optimal irrigation management to enhance crop yield and quality and minimize water wastage.

* Fertigation strategies under drip irrigation, including fertigation rate, scheduling, scenarios, and frequency.

* Exploring nutrient distribution in the soil to enhance overall crop health and productivity.

* Skills and management practices necessary for successful vegetable crop cultivation under drip irrigation systems.
