Data Fusion for Integrated Disaster Reduction Intelligence Service

Data fusion plays an important role in disaster prediction, disaster reduction and in the comprehensive assessment of integrated comprehensive disaster reduction intelligent services. The use of multi-source data at various levels improves the availability and quality of the derived information. Especially in the case of emergency response, it is important to integrate multi-source data in order to provide disaster mitigation services with up-to-date, accurate and timely information at various scales.

Authors are invited to submit papers on any topic related to the Aims and Scope of IJIDF that are related to the topic of EMERGENCY RESPONSE. Papers can be related to the use of positioning, image, text, LIDAR and Internet public opinion data-fusion technology to detect, observe, monitor, and map emergency events, including natural disasters, accident disasters, public health events and social security events (i.e., earthquakes, geological disasters, floods, buildings collapses, fires, traffic accidents, etc.).

This special issue calls for innovative techniques for fusing diverse spatiotemporal data, as well as novel applications in urban studies. Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Indoor and outdoor positioning data fusion
  • Analysis of geological disasters based on multisource data fusion
  • Disasters data visualization fusion
  • Typical disaster spatial analysis model integration
  • Comprehensive disaster mapping
  • Web disaster information fusion and mining
  • Emergency risk analysis
