COVID-19, Older adults, and Professional Practice

The Journal of Gerontological Social Work (JGSW) is seeking papers related to the corona virus and COVID-19 and social work, applied social service and health professions practice. We seek research, policy analysis and commentaries that contribute to understanding the issues and addressing the needs of older adults and their families. To the extent possible, we will expedite the review process. We will move manuscripts to e-publication as soon as they are accepted; we will compile a complete issue when we have enough papers to do so. Currently Taylor & Francis is offering free access for anyone to COVID-19 peer-reviewed research. At JGSW we understand that many scholars are working remotely and under constrained conditions conditions and appreciate the difficulty of these circumstances. This call for papers is open now with an end date of December 1, 2020. Please submit your paper at any time. Select this special issue from the drop-down menu when you submit your manuscript. If you have questions, please contact our Managing Editor, Dr. Huei-Wern Shen at [email protected] or our Editor in Chief, Dr. Michelle Putnam at [email protected]
