Synergy of Cloud and Crowd Computing for Smart City

Crowd computing is variously interpreted as a subset of crowdsourcing, human-computer interaction, communal computation, cloud technology, and edge technology. The vitality of both the multitude has indeed produced miraculous. The same can be said valid for computers. The dormant CPU clocks of billions of privately operated machines may add to enormous processing capability. We've coined the phrase crowd computing. However, this notion has been developed inside the previous with distributed systems, and it merits a rethink in the era of sophisticated smartphone devices. Crowd computing is sometimes misinterpreted for cloud computing, because the two phrases seem to be synonymous. Compared to the overhyped cloud services, the phrase crowd computing is still unfamiliar to the general public. Cloud computing is acclaimed as a revolutionary technological platform that enables on-demand centralised computation for both B2B and B2C sectors via a well-structured business model, whereas crowd computing was defined by volunteer involvement through a distributed computing approach. Henceforth, the synergy of cloud and crowd computing for smart cities aids in Both elastic and on-demand computing resources, offering distributed and networked computing.
