Deep learning techniques and Cognitive Informatics for medical physiology
We invite researchers to submit papers for consideration for a special issue on deep learning techniques and their applications to medical physiological data. We seek to publish an interdisciplinary collection of papers that explore the contributions of deep learning to the medical field, including novel applications of deep learning in medical practice, the development of novel deep learning architectures, and the evaluation of the effectiveness of deep learning architectures on medical physiological data.
We welcome both theoretical and practical contributions that address topics such as:
• Novel architectures and implementations of deep learning models for medical physiological data.
• Applications of deep learning models to relevant medical tasks such as diagnosis, prognosis, disease classification, and patient monitoring.
• Evaluation of deep learning models on medical physiological data.
• Interpretability and explainability of deep learning models in medical contexts.
• Advantages and disadvantages of using deep learning models for medical data.
• Privacy and ethical issues related to deep learning in medical contexts.
