Classical Analysis and Beyond: 25 Years of Semyon Yakubovich's Academic Excellence in Portugal
- This volume is dedicated to Professor Semyon Yakubovich on the occasion of his twenty-five years of academic and scientific work in Portugal.
- The volume centres on topics in analysis, broadly conceived, and aims to encompass the diverse areas of Professor Yakubovich’s research.
- Contributions from all domains of pure and applied mathematics, as well as mathematical physics, are welcome, including but not limited to functional analysis, measure theory, number theory, partial differential equations, approximation theory, numerical analysis, fractional calculus, special functions, orthogonal polynomials, and their multiple interactions with other fields.
Submission Instructions
- Please select ‘Classical Analysis and Beyond: 25 Years of Semyon Yakubovich’s Academic Excellence in Portugal’ when submitting your article.
- This special volume will adhere to the journal’s word limits, timelines, and formatting requirements. However, by exceptional approval of the volume editor, significantly longer papers may also be accepted.
- Survey articles of exceptional quality and addressing topics of broad interest to the journal’s readership are also welcome. However, such submissions will be subject to prior approval by the volume’s editor.
- The volume is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
