Interested in proposing a book in your area of community development? The Routledge-Community Development Society Book Series offers a range of options to publish your work.
Building on a history of more than 50 years publishing Community Development: Journal of the Community Development Society, this book series seeks to contribute to the field’s growing and rapidly changing knowledge base as a resource for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers alike. The books provide timely, useful, theoretical and applied information.
The series is interested in new proposals on all topics within community development, including
- Climate justice
- DEI (Race, LGBTQ, etc.)
- Gender equity (especially mobilisation around reproductive rights)
- Youth empowerment/engagement
- Mental health/Well-being
- International approached to community development
- Community as a mechanism to counter social polarization (political, social, religious etc)
- Social and emotional learning (SEL) skills, community development, and social change
