Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Reviews publishes review articles which analyse developments in industrial, agricultural and medical biotechnology via assisted breeding, genetic engineering, sustainable energy and disease treatment.
We are pleased to announce that the journal is preparing a special issue on ‘Challenges and Opportunities in Biotechnology’. This special issue is being published together with the "International Conference on Challenges and Opportunities in Biotechnology (ICCOB-2021)", organized by Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University Jharkhand, Ranchi, India. In this special issue, BGER is seeking manuscripts that specifically address the question of how biotechnology can be used to address challenges and maximise opportunities for development in the following areas:

- Five Omics: Genomics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics and Phenomics
