Behavioral and Experimental Studies on Gender and Women’s Development

Economic and Political Studies (EPShttp://www.tandfonline.com/REPS) is an ESCI and Scopus listed journal hosted by Renmin University of China and published by Taylor & Francis Group. It won the CNKI award of “The Highest International Impact Academic Journal of China” (Top 5%) in 2021 and 2022. Its 2022 CiteScore is 4.9, and the CiteScore Best Quartile is Q1.

EPS now calls for papers for a special issue/section on “Behavioral and Experimental Studies on Gender and Women’s Development.”

This Special Issue seeks original research that provides significant contributions to the understanding of gender differences, discrimination, and gender development, utilizing either empirical economic methods or behavioral/experimental economics. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Gender differences in labor markets in China and other countries
  • Field experiments on women’s development
  • Institution designs for reducing gender gap and discrimination
  • Gender stereotyping, and gender differences in evaluations and preferences
  • Leadership development for women

Submission Instructions

We are particularly interested in studies that focus on generating gender development actions in China and around the world, or those that provide insights for such actions. We are not seeking pure theoretical studies in this issue.

Papers should be submitted online at the official website of the journal: www.tandfonline.com/reps.
