Autism Spectrum Disorder and Neuropsychology
This special issue will focus on the assessment and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and related clinical decision making in neuropsychological practice. The goal of this special issue will be to improve clinical neuropsychological practice in the assessment of ASD by (1) describing neuropsychological profiles of individuals with ASD; (2) outlining neuropsychological findings that impact the academic and day-to-day functioning of these individuals; and (3) highlighting factors critical in the differential diagnosis of ASD in both the general population as well as medically and psychiatrically complex cases. Both empirical research and review articles are acceptable. Authors interested in submitting review articles should first contact the Special Issue Guest Editors (Susanne Duvall, PhD [email protected] & Kira Armstrong PhD [email protected]) to ensure their topic does not overlap with articles that have already been solicited for this special issue.
