Futuristic Impacts of Smart Robotics on Human Resource Management

The human resource department has an important role to play in an organization. Human resource management is responsible for managing employee relations and acquiring high-quality talent. Although every company has a choice in how it pursues its business and HR strategy, it must recognize and encourage human-AI collaboration. Even companies with an AI focus plan require a core group of individuals who can work with AI to create a new business model. In truth, the need to foster human-AI collaboration is a matter of degree. If every company uses AI, the AI implementation's unique competitive advantage will be lost. Another issue with that plan is employee resistance to AI implementation, which could result in significant side consequences, similar to the Luddite rebellion we saw throughout industrialization. Furthermore, AI will not be able to perform all of a job's tasks in the near future. Collaborative intelligence is a fascinating and intelligent concept that appeals to a wide range of practitioners and academics. However, it is poorly organized and leaves many theoretical concerns unsolved.

The impact of smart robotics on human resource management will be immensely huge in the near future. There is a possibility of robots taking over nearly half of all jobs in the next coming years. Similarly, it has been claimed by many researchers and studies that one-third of our occupations will be lost to robots on a global scale. A more upbeat viewpoint holds that the development of robot’s heralds economic prosperity and a significant increase in job satisfaction. This viewpoint is predicated on the assumption that as robots enter the workplace, they will bring with them a slew of new jobs. Several HR departments have already implemented Robotic Process Automation: They use robots to cross-check internal data against external data, automate a lot of spreadsheet chores, and assist them with work reports. As a result, these teams have a significant amount of time to devote to more strategic and delicate concerns, such as personal interviews and staff training. So based on the above facts and assertions, we can infer that; smart robotics comes with a lot of skills that will modify the work to its best but it will also be a threat to human resource management. HR professionals must investigate how the disruption is affecting their respective sectors and take appropriate action. This entails adequately reskilling and educating current staff, as well as preparing them for this major seismic shift.
