Internationally the past decade has seen a burgeoning of lived experience, peer support services often driven by changes in mental health workforce policy. This special issue will focus on research on peer support for consumers and/or careers, in mental health, Alcohol and other Drugs and gambling services.  This issue is particularly interested in gaining an international perspective on peer support. Quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods and systematic review studies will be considered. We welcome publications that report consumer-or carer-led research and are authored or co-authored by peer support workers.
