Advances in Intelligent Automation and Engineering optimization
Today the world is moving in the revolutionary phase, new methods and application are created and generated to present the solution to the real-world problem in the field of science and engineering. This leads to the society in the stage of complete digital transformation which requires Intelligent automation. It is the combination of Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and process automation which creates a workflow that can think, learn and adapt on their own. Most of the problems are concerned with maximizing or minimizing some quantity so as to optimize some outcome. Many real-world applications can be modelled as optimization problems due to its high degree of flexibility when dealing with the complexity of problem and application.
The aim of this special issue to bridge the theory and practice gap between science and real world by compiling the recent research and development efforts contributing to the advances in Intelligent Automation and Engineering optimization. The Special Issue will also welcome contributions addressing state-of-the-art advances in associated developments and methodologies and perspectives on future developments and applications. The targeted audience includes both academic researchers and industrial practitioners. The purpose is to provide a platform to enhance interdisciplinary research and collaborations, and to share most innovative ideas in various related fields.
