Adaptative Human Computer Interaction System for Education

In recent times, technology-enabled education and instruction have been attaining dominance due to the evolution in digitalization and the inclusive acceptance of blended forms of learning. Learning mechanisms navigated by technologies such as smart devices, social media, MOOCs, tablets, intelligent artefacts etc., offers a good deal of overshadowing advances to the student or learner’s experience such as competence, engagement, convenience, profiling, and personalization. Student-teacher mediation and innovative technologies have increasingly enlarged beyond 2D towards 3D mediums and substantial physical manifestations such as anthropoid robots and agents. Escorted by the penetration of such groundbreaking forms of interaction in the classrooms and at home, specific indispensable queries are here and now raised concerned to the robustness, precisely due to the superabundance, technological determinants, cultural divergence, emerging isolation of the learners and educator hindrance among others. Although the popularity of online education and the growth of technologies is enormously established, this increases human-computer interaction in education. In order to effectively exploit the technology for teaching and learning, appropriate solution designs, constant testing and implementation are required to cover the various fields of education.

List of topic areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Human-computer interaction education and diversity
  • Teaching and learning with human-computer interaction
  • Influence of human-computer interaction on learners
  • Human-computer interaction: aims, scope and future challenges
  • Human-computer interaction on healthcare
  • Advances of human-computer interaction on society
  • Role of HCI in management
  • Machine learning and human-computer interaction
  • Artificial intelligence in HCI and implications
  • Inclusion and diversity in HCI
  • Language education and HCI
  • Cognitive human-computer interaction
  • Human-computer interaction and cognitive psychology in education
  • Machine learning advances in HCI
