The Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) is an international association promoting excellence in education in the health professions. AMEE's specialist practitioner journal, MedEdPublish, has used an open access, open peer review model since its founding. Now in partnership with F1000, MedEdPublish complements AMEE's other publications and continues to grow its open research footprint.

The Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) promotes international excellence in education in the healthcare professions across the continuum of undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education. AMEE supports teachers and institutions in their current education activities and in the development of new approaches to curriculum planning, teaching and learning methods, assessment techniques and education management. The AMEE community of members and non-members spans 100 countries on five continents.
In 2021, AMEE migrated MedEdPublish to a new publishing platform powered by F1000’s trailblazing technology. The F1000 partnership expands AMEE's existing relationship with Taylor & Francis, which spans multiple projects including the subscription journal Medical Teacher.
