About the award
The PPMR Outstanding Reviewer Award recognizes exceptional service to Public Performance & Management Review and the scholarly community it serves. Presented annually, the award honours reviewers whose contributions demonstrate excellence in peer review during the calendar year.
Recipients are selected based on the volume of reviews completed, timeliness and reliability in meeting review deadlines, and the quality, rigor, and constructiveness of their feedback to authors and editors.
Awardees are chosen by the PPMR editorial team following an annual assessment of reviewer performance. The award reflects the journal’s deep appreciation for reviewers whose thoughtful, thorough, and professional evaluations strengthen the quality, integrity, and impact of published research.
