Biomaterial Investigations in Dentistry
An open access journal
Biomaterial Investigations in Dentistry (formerly Acta Biomaterialia Odontologica Scandinavica) provides rapid publication of high-quality dental research in the areas of oral biomaterials science.
The scope of the journal includes basic and clinical aspects of oral biomaterials science in dentistry. Analytical studies are preferred to descriptive studies. Original research papers, review articles and short communications will also be considered for publication. Articles reporting novel research showing cause and effect relationships for experimental studies and explanatory / associative relationships for those of an observational nature are favored. Hypothesis driven research is encouraged.
By making Biomaterial Investigations in Dentistry an open access journal, our ambition is to suit the needs of the academic community as well as practitioners by offering a space, available to all, to share experiences and ideas.
