Language Politics in Africa
The editors of Language Matters: Studies in the Languages of Africa are inviting submissions to the annual special issue, “Language Politics in Africa.” The eleventh special issue is currently in preparation.
The special issue of Language Matters provides an international forum for empirical contributions that deal with aspects of language intervention or decision-making (i.e. language policy, language planning, language management), language development, language and power, language and identity, language conflict, language movements, etc. Contributions should clearly focus on language situations on the African continent.
