Join the conversation on art history and publish your work!
Konsthistorisk tidskrift/Journal of Art History was founded in 1932 by Konsthistoriska sällskapet/The Society of Art Historians in Stockholm. As the leading peer-reviewed journal of art history in the Nordic countries, the journal welcomes original research from all fields of art history, architecture, design, and visual culture covering a broad variety of methodological and theoretical approaches. The journal also publishes reviews of books and larger exhibitions, and accepts submissions written in the Scandinavian languages as well as in English and sometimes French and German.
Konsthistorisk tidskrift/Journal of Art History is indexed in the Arts & Humanities Citation Index, and all material is fully searchable through the online archives. The journal reaches an international audience, with authors and subscribing libraries from all continents. All articles are subject to a rigorous peer-review process with many international scholars, within numerous disciplines of art history, on the list of regular reviewers.
The Editor-in-Chief, Jessica Sjöholm Skrubbe, is happy to respond to questions about submitting articles to the journal. You can contact him at KHT@informa.com. For questions about book or exhibition reviews our Review Editor, Elin G. Håkanson, can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
