Knowledge Management is a multidisciplinary area that combines various applications like psychology, cognitive science, information theory, complexity science, social network analysis, and many more. Advancements in Knowledge Management leverage improved innovations, increased performance, and expanded knowledge both from an individual and organizational perspective. At the same time, most of the business management systems require a considerable amount of time, resources, energy, and attention to carry out various activities relating to the process of knowledge management. Thus, the integration of Knowledge Management with computational intelligence techniques can significantly reduce the amount of surveillance required to manage traditional Knowledge Management systems.

The appropriate use of Knowledge Management and Artificial Intelligence techniques can change the future of business management systems. Here AI enables the machines to collect knowledge and learn the overall business process by using a set of predefined rules and standards without any human interventions. Similarly, Knowledge Management acts as a repository were AI can obtain the knowledge and perform data classification.  In addition, business management makes use of the classification to design effective business strategic plans. Also, by understanding the gaps in the marketplace and introducing AI-based strategic planning constantly, the sales can improve consistently, fulfilling stakeholder needs. Similarly, strategic planning also serves as an outline for achieving organizational goals and helps to review the performance of the company over time intervals. The integration of AI-based Knowledge Management acts as a disruptive technology for strategic business planning, which displaces other traditional business strategic methods and processes.
