About the prize
The Best Paper by an Early Career Researcher prize is awarded to the paper, authored by an early career researcher, to have made the greatest contribution to scholarship on landscape in the previous 12 months, with judgements based primarily on innovation, clarity and significance. The article should not have more than two authors; the first author must be an early career researcher (i.e. a PhD candidate or researcher who was awarded their PhD within the last five calendar years). The author/s of the winning article will be awarded a £250.00 prize.
To enter a paper for the Best Paper by an Early Career Researcher Prize, please email the journal at [email protected] to confirm your eligibility and submit your article in the normal way, via the journal’s online portal. All articles submitted must go through the journal’s submission and peer-review process. Nominated papers will be used to create a shortlist, from which the journal’s Editorial Team will select the winning paper.
