About the prize
In 2019, Landscape Research introduced two annual prizes, supported by the Landscape Research Group. Both prizes aim to encourage, celebrate and recognise high-quality contributions to the field of landscape research.
Best Paper Prize: The Best Paper Prize is awarded to the paper judged to have made the greatest contribution to scholarship on landscape in the previous 12 months, with judgements based primarily on innovation, clarity and significance. The authors/s of the winning article will be awarded a £250.00 prize.
Submission Process: All papers submitted to the journal will automatically be eligible for the award of the Best Paper Prize. Each year, members of the journal’s International Editorial Advisory Board will be asked to nominate the best published paper in the previous 12-month period. The nominated papers will be used to create a shortlist, from which the journal’s Editorial Team will select the winning paper.
