Journal of Psychosomatic Obstetrics & Gynecology is converting to Open Access from its 2023 volume.
The journal was founded in 1981, providing a forum for research on psychosocial and psychosomatic aspects of women’s health, encouraging Obstetricians and Gynecologists to increasingly consider these elements when considering diagnoses and treatments.
The Journal of Psychosomatic Obstetrics and Gynecology is the Official Journal of the International Society of Psychosomatic Obstetrics and Gynaecology and covers psychosomatic medicine related to gynecology, gynecological endocrinology, nursing and nurse midwifery, obstetrics, perinatology, psychiatry, psychology and reproductive endocrinology. It publishes content ranging from Book Reviews and Personal Views through to Short Communications, Reviews and Research/ Full Length Articles.
Seeing the growth in Open Access in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology field has given us confidence that the Journal of Psychosomatic Obstetrics and Gynaecology will continue to flourish as fully Open Access journal with increased reach and impact of this important area of research.
All manuscripts received after the 24th of May 2022 will go through our Open Access submission portal, and Authors (or their institutions or funders) who submit their manuscript after this date will need to pay the Article Publishing Charge (APC) associated with the article type if and when their paper is accepted.
